Emerita Gonzalez Saez, 65, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Hipolito Gonzalez Molina and Leonarda Rodriguez.

She was a master seamstress that worked for local wedding designers.

Emerita is survived by her daughter, Ana Rosa Santiago and son, Alexander Santiago both of Lancaster. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tyana, Bean, Jaydon, Ariyah, Joey and her siblings, Juanita Montanez of Lancaster, Antonia Gonzalez of Akron, Antonio Gonzalez husband of Gloria of Lancaster and David Gonzalez of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dionicia Gonzalez and brother, Hipolito Gonzalez.

A Viewing will be held from 9-11AM on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. Flowers will be received. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery.
