He was a retiree of the former Sperry New Holland serving as communication service manager, supervising the art, audio-visual, production, and the regional/national sales and dealer planning departments. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ernest B. and Margaret Flaharty. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Flaharty, his two sons: Curtis Flaharty of Conestoga and Brian P. Flaharty of Willow Street; his stepchildren Debra Carson of Florida and Rob Carson of Lancaster; and by his 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
