Elsie M. Washington,75, of Lancaster, PA died at her residence on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Born in Paradise, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Wood. Elsie was the wife of the late Robert H. Washington who died Dec. 22, 1988.

Surviving are five children: Barbara Ann Scott, Dolores Washington, Robert H. Washington Jr, William L. Washington, and Andrew Washington, all of Lancaster, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and two sisters; Natalie Gore and Margaret Dixon, both of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

A Funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2PM. Interment will be in Mellinger  Mennonite Cemetery.
