Elizabeth O'Neida Schnader, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully, at Conestoga View Nursing Home. Born in 1934 to the late John Channel and Whilamenia "Minnie" Rose (Myers) Eisenberger, Elizabeth was the loving wife of Richard C. Schnader, Sr. with whom she celebrated 68 years of marriage. Elizabeth was a loving wife, caring mother, and adored her grandchildren. She devoted her time to her family as a homemaker. Elizabeth was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is survived by two sons: Richard C. Schnader, Jr., husband of Rose, of Lancaster, and Terry L. Schnader, of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Richard C. Schnader, III, Christine M. Reese, and Teresa L. Schnader; sister, Thelma Smith, of Columbia; step sisters: Sandy Young and Mary Jane Rudy, wife of Stephen, both of Lancaster; and step brother, John Welshans, also of Lancaster. Funeral Services for Elizabeth will be held at 12PM, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 11AM to 12PM. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
