Elizabeth A. Miller, 84, of Columbia, passed away at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, on January 9, 2006.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Cannings and Margaret Lindsay Ashton.  Her husband, William H. Miller died in 1999.  She worked as a clerk for twenty years in the banking field.  Along with her husband she was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the Lancaster Power Squadron.  Betty was an excellent singer and a member of St. Thomas's choir and Altar Guild.  She also enjoyed traveling.  Nieces and nephews survive her.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St. Thomas Rd., Lancaster, PA on Friday at 10:30AM.  Interment will immediately follow the service in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Memorial Garden.  Friends will be received from 10AM until the time of service.  Please omit flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St. Thomas Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601.
