Elizabeth A. McCowin, 62, of Lancaster, passed away at LGH on August 2, 2012. She was born in Coatesville, PA to Margaret (Stewart) Myers and the late Louis Thomas.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Robert L. McCowin, of Lancaster.

She retired as a food handler with Life Style Foods.

Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband, two daughters, Sarah R. Thomas and Christina L. McCowin, both of Lancaster, two step daughters, Rochelle and Roberta Ballinger, both of Lancaster, three grandchildren, two sisters, Donna Culclasure and Betty Hogue, and a brother, James Stewart.

Home Going Services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 12noon at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 with The Rev. Roland Forbes officiating.
