Elizabeth (Betty) May Rabzak, 78, of Lancaster passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Born in Reading, PA on April 20, 1938 she was the daughter of Clifford "Bud" and Elma Connell. Her childhood was spent in Kenhorst, PA and she graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. She worked as a legal secretary in Reading, Philadelphia and Lancaster and in the banquet department at the Eden Resort prior to becoming a full-time homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leon Rabzak of Lancaster, where they made their home. She is also survived by two daughters, Theresa Meyers of Sarasota, Florida and Lisa Rabzak of Lancaster. Betty was a voracious reader who loved summers spent at their house on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos, where she enjoyed boating, swimming and soaking up the summer sun. She was a dog lover and enjoyed her poodles, Suzy and Fifi, and bichons Cali, Mandy and Molly over the years. Betty enjoyed watching movies, shopping and traveling and especially their many trips to the Caribbean. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. There will be a period of visitation beginning at 11:30 am.
