Elizabeth J. Koons, 88, formerly of 151 Tulane Terrace, Lancaster, PA. died Sunday at Conestoga View. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Marianna Sinopli Madonna. Elizabeth was the wife of the late Ralph M. Koons Jr. who died June 5 ^th , 1979. Elizabeth worked in the tube department of RCA for 35 years and previously worked at Keppels Candy Factory. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and the Italian American Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving is a brother, William J. Madonna of Lancaster and three sisters; Mary Henry of Lancaster, Angeline Pritz of Lancaster, and Ann Mclaughlin of Columbia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince Street, Lancaster on Thursday, Dec 13, 2007 at 10:00AM with Rev. Leo Goodman as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday from 9-10:00am. Please omit flowers.
