Elizabeth M. (Betty) Heisey, 81, of Lancaster died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her home. Born in Wiconisco Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Susan Punch. Betty was the wife of the late Paul H. Heisey Sr. who died in 1986.

Betty was a 1947 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg and a graduate of the former St Joseph Nursing School in Lancaster. She worked for the former Whitehall Leader Nursing Home from 1980-1991,  Homestead Village,and was 3-11 Supervisor at St. Joseph's Hospital Home Health Care.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Lancaster County Sports Farm.

Surviving are her four children: Kathleen Dobin, Quarryville, Paul H. Jr. husband of Simone Heisey, Pequea, Robert husband of Lucy Heisey, Millersville, Bernadette wife of Ronald Troop, Lancaster, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00AM with Msgr. Thomas Smith as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday from 9-10:00AM. Please omit flowers.
