Elizabeth A. Heim of Glen Mills died peacefully, Friday, November 20, 2009 at Essa Flory Hospice Center after a long illness. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Beare Swanson. Elizabeth was a homemaker and the wife of John P. Heim. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving besides her husband are six children: Elizabeth Heim wife of Phillip Louie, Lancaster, John P. Jr. husband of Carol Heim, Clark Summit, PA, Michael C. husband of Diane Heim, Lancaster, Mark J. husband of Tammy Heim, Lancaster, Theresa Heim wife of Dean Swartz, Landisville, Eric T. husband of Sakura Heim, HI, sixteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters: Shirley wife of William Weaver, FLA., Janice wife of Richard O'Donnell, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave. Lancaster, on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11:00AM. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday at the church.  Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P. O.
