Elizabeth A. "Betty" Seladones, 76, of Lancaster passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at her home. Born in Pottsville, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert Rowe. She was the wife of the late Edward T. Seladones who passed away in 1997. Betty was a devoted secretary for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Surviving is a son, Scott E. Seladones, one grandchild: Kiersten Poe, both of Lancaster and a sister, Roberta Speller, wife of Edward, of Langhorne, PA. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Edwardine M. Caldwell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St, Lancaster, PA 17603 with Rev. Michael E. Messner as Celebrant. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. At Betty's request, her family asks that all attendees wear bright colored clothing. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the church at the above address.
