Elizabeth M. "Betty" Henrich, 70, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles P. Getz and Dorothy Young Henrich.

For the last 20 years, Betty had served as the caregiver to her late parents. Prior to this, she had held various positions over the years for several companies and had worked as a telephone operator at the Host Resort. She enjoyed reading, playing cards,word puzzles, crocheting, bingo, time at the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Diana married to William Slocum of Quarryville; her brother Daniel married to Wendy Getz of Middletown, and by two aunts and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends will be received on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 from 1:30-2PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 2PM, the rev. Ed Saul officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Betty's memory to a charity of your choice.
