Obituary
Eleanore D. "El" (Bolinsky) Volgan 83, of Lancaster, died suddenly Friday, December 20, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fern Glen, PA, she was the wife of the late William M. Volgan and the daughter of the late Alfonso Peter and Isabel (Romanofsky) Bolinsky.
El was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Iris Club.
She was a teacher in the Mechanicsburg and Lancaster School Districts for 40 years.
El is survived by her sister, Isabel B. Sherdon of Lancaster.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial donations in El's memory may be made to Lancaster General Foundation for the Benefit of the ICU, 555 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17604.
