Eleanor J. Rusin, 90, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Christmas Morning Sunday, December 25, 2022. Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Johanna (Brunner) Oschatz. She was the devoted wife to the late Joseph S Rusin.

Before retirement, Eleanor was a data entry clerk for the IU #13, where she worked for many years.

Eleanor was an active member of St. John Neumann's Church, where she participated in the Senior Support Group. Eleanor was an avid sewer and loved to make cloths for her children. Eleanor loved to garden and be outside, she especially loved bird watching. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be very much missed for all that knew her.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters Shirley J Rusin, Joanne C Grudzinski (husband, Michael), and Linda E Lane; and her two grandchildren Aubrey A de Cheubell-Bertolucci (husband, Michael) and Olivia A de Cheubell-Fioriniello (husband, Andrea). In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Gary J Rusin.

Services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 at St. John Neumann Church, 601 E Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. A Viewing will take place at 1:00 PM and a Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 PM.
