Eleanor A. (Picillo) Flemingloss, 90, of Lancaster, PA passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Moravian Manor, Lititz, PA, where she had been a resident for the past year. Born in Kearny, NJ, she was the wife of the late Francis A. Flemingloss, and the daughter of the late Salvatore and Pasqualina (Rubolo) Picillo. Eleanor, a loving mother and grandmother, looked forward to spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting Atlantic City with her husband for dinner and shows, and instilled in her daughter Barbara a love for New York and Broadway musicals. Eleanor was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager for the UNUM Insurance Company for 40 years. She was of the Catholic faith, and an honors graduate of Kearney High School in NJ. Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Barbara Fanning, widow of Jack, of Lancaster; a grandson, Jack Fanning and his wife Sneha Patel of Verona, VA; a granddaughter, Cortney Fanning of Mount Joy, PA; a sister, Mafalda Popola of Belleville, NJ; a sister-in-law, June Picillo of Kearny, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: John, Louis, and Anthony; and 3 sisters: Margaret, Viola, and Clara. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
