Eleanor Catherine DiNovis, age 94, passed away on September 5, 2019 at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim, PA. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Victor and Rose Greco. She was one of six children.

Eleanor was the widow of the late Edward H. DiNovis, who died in 1991. Eleanor and Edward were married for 40 years. She was a 1947 graduate of Brooklyn State Hospital School of Nursing, from which she received her RN designation. She worked as an RN for many years and enjoyed a varied career in hospital nursing, industrial nursing, medical office nursing, and school nursing.

She lived a full and happy life and was an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. She is survived by her four children, Stephen, husband of Ann DiNovis, James, husband of Joanne DiNovis, Rosemary Biezad, and Kathryn, wife of Lyle Vestermark, as well as 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lucille Aellen, of Mt. Airy, MD and her brother, Anthony Greco, husband of Lorraine, of Malvern NY.

Family visitation was held September 7 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
