Elaine Slaymaker, 72, passed away at her Lancaster, PA, home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born in Columbia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Arlene (Frymyer) Erb.

Elaine was a member of Grace Community Church in Willow Street.

Surviving Elaine are her two sons, Ryan M. Pennington of Lancaster, PA, and Keith A. Pennington of Columbus, OH; two granddaughters, Kathryn I. Pennington of Columbus, OH, and Shayla M. Pennington of Ashburn, VA; two great grandchildren, Troy Boyd and Jazzella Browning of Columbus, OH; and her brother Dale Erb of Lancaster, PA.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her son, Troy M. Pennington and her siblings, Robert Erb, Jean Fisher, and Donald Erb.

Elaine's family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM, followed by the funeral at 11 AM, with Rev. Mike Sigmund officiating, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584. Interment will be in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery, Holtwood, PA.
