Eileen Catherine Pluta, 75, of Lititz, PA, passed away on December 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Magee. Eileen was a loving wife to Theodore "Ted" Joseph Pluta. Eileen retired after 20 years as a registered nurse from the Philadelphia General Hospital and the Wyncote Church Home. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking and gardening. Eileen loved to spend time with her grandchildren and taking care of her family. In addition to her husband, Ted, Eileen is survived by her children: Meg Anderson (Mark), Victoria Roberts (Sean), Ted Pluta III (Polly), Dan Pluta (Staci), Mike Pluta (Maura) and Maeve Beebe (Evan); 19 grandchildren: Ian, Ted IV, Grace, Malachy, Catherine, Henry, Noel, Liam, Charles, Kaitlin, Samuel, Dan Jr., Michael II, Kathleen, Margaret, Evelyn, Joseph, Fiona and Jake; and her sisters: Mimi, Connie and Kitty. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Paxtang Cemetery, The Wood's Edge Green Burial, 490 N. Paxtang Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17111. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eileen's memory may be made to Four Diamonds Childhood Cancer at Penn State Children's Hospital , 1249 Cocoa Ave, Suite 115, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
