Eileen M. Mundie, 69, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, May 04, 2013, at the Hospice & Community Care, Essa Flory.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Jane F. (Englert) Mundie.

Eileen graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School.  In 2006, Eileen retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Luther Acres Retirement Community.  She was a life member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.  She attended St. Anne Catholic Church and helped prepare their bagged lunches for those in need.  Eileen assisted with Meals on Wheels delivering meals to senior citizens.  She enjoyed cross-stitching, jewelry making, playing bingo and thoroughly enjoyed a good game of pinochle.  She also enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Walt Disney World in Florida and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Eileen was preceded in death by her brother, John F. Mundie, Jr. Surviving is her sister-in-law, D. Lynn Duncan, wife of the late John F. Mundie, Jr.; niece, Kathryn Roberts; two grandnephews, Morris and Virgil Roberts; she was the best friend of the late DonnaMarie C. Leberfinger; and longtime family friend of Paul E. Leberfinger, husband of the late DonnaMarie C. Leberfinger, and their children, Theresa M. Leberfinger, Paula R. Mishler, and Heather L. Wade.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 929 North Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, with Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter as Celebrant.  Family and friends will be received from 8:30-9:30AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E.
