Eileen H. Makara,69, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Stephanie (Kiebalo) and Harry J. Haworth. She was the loving wife to the late James J. Makara.

Eileen enjoyed dancing and was a member of the USO dance troupe. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, skiing and taking road trips. Eileen also enjoyed baking and cooking. She enjoyed laughing with her beloved family. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family. Her sense of humor, kind heart and giving nature will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her stepsons: James Makara (Helene) of New Holland and Michael Makara (Yeny) of Schwenksville, PA; her sister Susan Davis of Lancaster; her step-grandchildren: Emily, Amanda, Isabella and Michael; her nieces: Dawn Thatcher and Lori Rivera (Lou); great nephews: Michael R. Morris, Lucas and Lia Rivera as well as her beloved fur baby Barney.

Interment will be private at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
