Edward R. Patton, Jr., 76, passed on after a lengthy illness on Saturday at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was the husband of late Ethel M. Anthony Patton, who passed away in 1991. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edward R. Sr. and Ida Patton.

Edward had served as the manager of the Otters Club in Lancaster from 1991 until 2004.

He was a US Army veteran, serving as a private first class from 1949 to1950.

He was a loving husband to his wife, a loving father, and a loyal friend.

He is survived by his 3 children, Edward III, Cindy Garrett, and Crystal Stockbauer, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a brother Ed.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 9:30-10:30AM at the Charles Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E King St., Lancaster, PA with a memorial service to follow at 10:30AM. Interment in Riverview Burial Park.
