Edward Kosiorek, 65, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on March 30, 2015 unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Poland, he was the son of Antonina (Bukowski) Kosiorek of Brooklyn, NY, and the late Longin Kosiorek. Ed was the husband of Jadwiga (Kuczynska) Kosiorek. Ed was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He liked cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his family. Judge Judy was his favorite TV show, and he mostly agreed with the outcome chosen by the judge. He also liked working outside in his yard, gardening and having BBQ's. Ed treasured his grandchildren and loved spending time with them and his family. Surviving in addition to his wife, Jadwiga, and his mother, Antonina, are three daughters: Elizabeth Leese, wife of Eric, of Landisville, PA, Jennifer Young, wife of Jeremy, of Lancaster, PA, and Monica Kosiorek of Lancaster, PA; three grandchildren: Lilijana Young, Edward Young and Andrew Leese; and three siblings: Stanley Kosiorek, husband of Irene, of New Hyde Park, NY, Jadwiga Grgas of Brooklyn, NY and Christine Kosiorek of Brooklyn, NY. A viewing will take place from 2-4 PM on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 and again on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Monday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 with Rev. David Danneker, Ph.D. as Celebrant. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
