Edward "EJ" Joseph Summers, Jr., 29, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, June 27th 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of Hannah Summers and the late Edward Summers, Sr. EJ was a 2005 graduate of Pequea Valley High School. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to sports he was an admirer of the Ford Mustang. In addition to his loving mother, Hannah, EJ is survived by his beautiful daughter; Evionne Summers, One brother; Charles husband of Eloisa Summers of Ephrata, PA, Two sisters; Jennifer Summers-Mentor of Ephrata, PA and Kristin Summers of Lancaster, PA, Three nephews; Jayden Mentor, Ethan Summers, and Kayon Riddick and a host of extended loving family. EJ was preceded in death by his father, Edward Summers, Sr. A Celebration of EJ's Life will be held on Wednesday, July 6th at 7PM at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev. Dana Statler officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home from 5-7PM for a viewing prior to the service. In EJ's memory the family asks for all that attend to please wear Pittsburgh Steelers attire or Black & Yellow. Inurnment will be private.
