Edward Dayton Cornett, 37, of Holtwood passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026. Born in Christiana, DE, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Sharon (Henderson) Cornett. He was the husband of Tierney Rynier.

He attended Solanco High School. Dayton recently worked as a machinist for a local machine shop. Dayton loved to play video games and loved to go fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepdaughter, Haylee Thompson, of Holtwood, PA; siblings, Patricia Ryan of Cape Coral, FL, Barbara Lynn Baker, wife of James of Oxford, PA, Sandra Moulden, wife of Kevin of York, PA, Steven Ray Cornett, fiancé of Hannah Paris of Columbia, PA and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert James Cornett.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and announcement will be made. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dayton's memory may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses and to a Go Fund Me.
