Edward David Brian, Jr., 64, of Lancaster passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Brethren Village. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edward David, Sr. and Dorothy (Platt) Brian.

David graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He worked for the Department of Agriculture and for the Lancaster County Library system. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

David was a life member and 20 year veteran of Southern Manheim Township Fire Company, serving as Assistant Chief in 1984, Financial Secretary and Trustee.

He is survived by his sister, Sally J. McClain, wife of Rev. Dr. H. Richard, of Allentown, PA, a niece, Lorianne Buckenmyer, wife of Frederick, III, of Coopersburg, PA and nephew, Brian McClain, husband of Jen, of Medina, OH as well as extended family.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM with, Rev. Dr. H. Richard McClain officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
