Edmond E. Thomas, 90, of Millersville, passed away at home on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Born in Parksburg, PA, he was the son of the late Edmond and Virginia (Bland) Thomas. Ed was the loving husband of Catherine (Stewart) Thomas, and they celebrated 48 years of marriage together.

Ed worked as the Chief Operator of the Lancaster City Water Department, retiring after many years of service. He was an inspiring mentor to many children over the years, and he and his wife also served as foster parents. He enjoyed watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Along with his wife, Catherine, Ed is survived by his daughter, Veronica and her husband Mitchell of Gettysburg. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Glory and Faith Ayabarreno, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Leonard Gantz and Edmond Thomas.

A viewing will take place from 10 – 11 AM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
