Edith V. Tindall, 70, of Drumore, passed away at home, Friday, April 19, 2024. Born in Dover Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Virginia (Silvernail) Rhodes.
Edith attended Dover Plains High School and then started her family in New York before moving to Pennsylvania. Edith worked for many years as a home health caregiver for Home Helpers.
Edith enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel, visiting some of her favorite places such as Key West and Alaska. In her younger days she loved dancing in the living room with her children, her sister and niece. Those days were talked about often as they were some of her favorite memories.
Edith is described as a beautiful, kind, loving, gentle soul. She had a smile that warmed everyone's hearts and a had a great sense of humor. When Edith loved, she loved deeply and always would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Because of her kindness, she was loved by so many.
Edith is survived by her 3 children: Eileen Wrisley, wife of Duane Kline, of Quarryville, Joe Wrisley, husband of Anna, of Drumore, and Jon Wrisley, of Grand Isle, VT; 5 grandchildren: Steven Webb, John Sheehan, Liam Kline, Jasmine Redmond, and Jon Wrisley, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren: Woodson, Isla, Evelyn, Keira Noelle, and Lilah May; and 8 siblings: Lilian Aument, Nick Rhodes, Courtney Rhodes, Jimmy Rhodes, Rodney Rhodes, Mike Rhodes, Lacey Rhodes, and Penny Wenger. Edith was preceded in death by her twin brother, Edmond, and brother, Augustus Rhodes.
A Gathering to remember Edith's life will be held at a later date.
