Edith T. DiCintio, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Mennonite Home.

She was the wife of the late Peter DiCintio, who passed away in 2002. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Frances DiCicco DiLeo.

Edith had been a homemaker and was a 1939 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. She had enjoyed traveling and shopping.

Edith was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church where she was active in the St. Anne-Neumann Senior Citizens group.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Mary Ann married to Vincent J. Marinelli of Wilmington, DE and Linda F. married to Jack W. Aument of Lancaster; 4 grandchildren: Vincent Marinelli and Linda Marinelli Grace, Deborah Aument Polizzi and Michael Aument, and 8 great grandchildren: Matthew, Gina and Stephanie Marinelli, Helena and Monica Grace, and Joseph, Danielle and Gabriella Polizzi. She was preceded in death by a brother John C. DiLeo and 2 sisters Esther Sabatine and Yolanda McLaughlin.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 930-1030AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 929 N. Duke St., Lancaster on Friday at 11AM, with the Rev. Norman Hohenwarter at Celebrant. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
