Edith "Edie" D. Royer, 93, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Landis Homes Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Royer who passed away in 2013. Born in Schoeneck, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Minnie M. (Druckenbrod) Rabold. She was a longtime member of Mellinger's Lutheran Church. Edie retired from Woodstream after 20 years of service. She was proud of the time spent during WWII assisting the military in maintaining airplane engines in Middletown. Edie enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting, puzzles, and cleaning her house. She loved traveling, especially to Germany. Edie adored her three cats; Tigger, Bailey, and Babe. Most of all Edie loved spending time with her family and friends at her cabin in Tioga county. Edie is survived by her loving daughter; Connie Morgan of Lititz, PA, One sister-in-law; Margaret Rabold of Reading, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Edie was preceded in death by her three siblings; Alvin Rabold, Paul Rabold, and Irene Hertzog. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 19 at 7PM at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with Pastor Tim Craven officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home from 6-7PM for a viewing prior to the service. A private cremation will take place in the Snyder Crematory Chapel. Inurnment will be in Mellinger's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stevens, PA at the convenience of the family.
