Edgar "Eddie" Chant Jr., 24, of Lancaster, passed away on October 19, 2018. Born and raised in Lancaster, he was the son of Edgar Chant Sr. and Alisa Chant. Eddie's passion in life was music. He was an extremely gifted rapper, rapping under the name Mugga Mook. When he wasn't listening or working on his music, Eddie loved watching sports. He was a huge fan of Lebron James and the Cincinnati Bengals. A devoted friend, Eddie would do anything for anyone who was lucky enough to be close to him. One of Eddie's favorite places to go was Ocean City, MD, where he would travel with his friends and family for fun vacations and spontaneous trips. His family will remember his ambition, natural talent, and beautiful smile. Surviving are Eddie's parents; Edgar Chant Sr., Alisa Chant, and Scott Fichtner, sisters; Cortney Fichtner and Bethany Flanagan, nephews; Nijon Valez and Ronald Cedre, and close friend Sean Baker. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Judy and Robert Pischkey. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory located at 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. Guests will be received prior to the service starting at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
