Earline M. Owens, 86, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Aldine (Gates) Stewart.

Earline attended J. P. McCaskey High School and worked most of her career as a nursing assistant for various companies, and also worked briefly for Armstrong. She was very involved in her church, St. Paul's Church of God in Christ, where she was an usher, one of the church Mothers, and a nursing aide. Earline was known for her green thumb and love of plants and foliage. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed a good home-cooked meal, doing puzzles and word games, liked watching old Westerns, and was a talented hair braider.

Earline is survived by her 6 children: Jodine Owens (Joe), John Owens, Jr. (Linda), Antonio "Tony" Owens, Earl Owens, Sr. (Patricia Snoke), Aldine Owens (Donna), and Leroy Owens; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a large and loving extended family. She was predeceased by her infant son John Owens, sister Rev. Odessa Coder, and brother William Earl Stewart.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. Paul's Church of God in Christ, 215 S. Queen St, Lancaster, PA 17603. The family will receive guests from 10-11 AM. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider sending greens or planters.
