Earl R. Heckel, III, 57, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Friday, June 16, 2017. He was born in Lancaster, son of Rose Miller Heckel of Lititz and Earl R. Heckel, Jr., husband of Barbara of Manheim.

A 1978 graduate of Warwick High School, he worked at the Country Tire Barn, then for Burhnam Commercial Boilers and lastly Earl was a transporter for the Amish. Earl was spontaneous and fun loving and he enjoyed motorcycling, classic rock and life in general.

In addition to his parents, Earl is survived by his daughter, Amber, wife of Ray Redcay and their son Gavyn of Lititz, twin sisters Debra, wife of James Vaccaro of Lititz and Diana, wife of Daniel Perich of Lititz, sister Kathleen, wife of Steve Brown of York and brother Matthew Heckel of Coatesville. Earl's companion is Tammy Appler of Conestoga.

Earl's family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM, followed by a celebration of his life at 3 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.
