E. Marie Johns, 89, formerly of Rockford Lane in Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late J. Wray Johns, who passed away in 2005. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late G. Lester and Ella E. McNiss LeFevre. Marie had been a homemaker and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing. She was a 1943 graduate of JP McCaskey High School. Marie was a longtime member of Pearl Street United Methodist Church of Lancaster. She is survived by her children: James W. married to Suzan Johns of Ephrata, and Carol married to Duncan Halliwell of Lititz; her 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren and her sister, Hazel married to Thomas Reese of Lititz. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Blanche Holbein and Patricia Roth.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:30PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30PM, the Rev. E. Walter Cleckley officiating. Interment in the Riverview Burial Park.
