Dwayne L. Stewart, 58, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully, September 26, 2024. Born and raised in Lancaster, Dwayne was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and spent his career as a skilled mechanic.

He had a passion for fixing cars and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play. Known for his strong will, Dwayne was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, brother and partner who enjoyed cherishing moments filled with food, fun, and laughter.

Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Felicia McCain, along with three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Sue Mae Hoberg; siblings Aldine Owens and her wife Donna, Ralph "Red" Stewart, Maria Alvarado, and Francisco L. Alvarado; and his cousin, Laverne Carter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Stewart, and his brother, Samuel Stewart.

A memorial service to celebrate Dwayne's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a diabetes organization in Dwayne's memory. His love for family and life will always be remembered and cherished.
