Dwayne Dimitris, 70, of Lancaster, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his home, with his loving wife by his side. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late George and Patricia Bowers Dimitris. For 43 years he his wife Debra enjoyed life with one another by their side. He was a 1973 Penn Manor High School graduate and later opened his own business, Dent Fighters, a paintless dent repair company. You could frequently find Dwayne on the tennis courts, playing at various clubs and on various teams. His friends referred to him as "one of the good guys", as his kindness and sense of humor never failed to show to others. Dwayne had a great interest in antique Hamilton watches and was considered an expert amongst watch collectors around the country. He enjoyed flipping homes and put his skills to work renovating homes in Lancaster and Arizona. Dwayne was also known as a very good cook and his dinners were often enjoyed by friends and family, always with laughter, stories and memories. He was also a skilled potter, a hobby he enjoyed in years past.
Dwayne is survived by his loving wife, Debra, is his father-in-law, Earl Myers, Sister-in-law, Peggy wife of Gary Coble and their children, Stevie wife of Erik Posegay and Casey Coble. Dwayne is also survived by a second sister-in-law, Patty wife of Steve Dietsch, and her children, Christina wife of Steve Schoffstall, Tiffanee wife of Albert Wright, and Kyle husband of Heidi Dimitris as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by a brother, Craig Dimitris.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of life at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
