Duane S. Wendler, 69, entered into rest on November 30, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.

Duane is survived by his beloved wife, Angie Wendler; his three siblings, Patty Castiglione, Ron Wendler and Sheila Moss; his three children, Rodney Wendler, Monica DePaul and Lisa Mannarelli-Puleo; and his three grandchildren, Amelia DePaul, Ella DePaul and Sienna Puleo.

Duane was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232, the "Red Devils," as an aviation mechanic. He was an accomplished craftsman, machinist and carpenter and will be remembered for his ability to build or fix just about anything.

A celebration of Duane's life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Landis Homes, West Bethany Chapel, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests at 1:00 pm and the memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm.
