Duane H. "Hank" Harvey, 70, of Venice, FL and formerly of Manheim Twp., Lancaster, PA passed away unexpectedly in a peaceful state at the Venice Regional Hospital. Born in Tioga, PA, he was the son to the late Daisy (Stone) Hummel.

Hank was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith I. (Wales) Harvey. He married Lorraine (Rokicki) Harvey on April 23, 2011 and retired to Venice, FL with her.

He served his country with the US Navy.

Hank was a trustee and member of Highland Presbyterian Church, a Sunday school teacher and a Stevens' Minister.

Hank graduated from Marywood College and Northampton Community College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management.

He retired in December, 2012 as President of Tech Cast, Inc. in Myerstown, PA. He previously worked for Ingersol Rand, Atlantic Research, PA Malleable, Foundry Group of Birmingham, AL, and Aero Metals.

He was affiliated with The American Foundry Society and the Investment Casting Institute.

He was a former member of Meadia Heights Golf Club and the Hamilton Club.

He loved travelling, sailing, cooking, was a master diver, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Kellie Harvey, companion of Justin Hernandez, Holly Ruof and Randy Ruof, and a granddaughter, Madalyn Ruof, all of Lancaster. He is survived by a sister, Judy Belz, wife of James, of Tioga, a step-daughter, Kristin Periard, wife of Jim, of MI, and a step-grandson, Donny Periard.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2PM in the Chapel at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike with The Rev. Ted G. Mingle officiating. A visitation will be from 1-2PM.
