Duane J. Boynes, 38, of Lancaster passed away at home on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Born in Lancaster he was the son of Joseph E. and Beverly A. (Johnson) Boynes. Duane was a 1996 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and attended York Technical Institute. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, was a very organized person and liked to travel prior to his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis. Duane will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his parents Joseph and Beverly, are his sister Veronica Boynes and his two nephews Teon Lee, Jr. and Isaiah Thomas all of Lancaster. Home Going services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:30AM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will take place from 10AM until the time of his funeral service at the funeral home.
