Dorothy S. Taggart, 92, formerly of Willow Street, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the Mennonite Home. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Margaret Siipple Stephens. Dorothy's husband Thomas A. Taggart, Jr. died in 1996.

She worked as a private secretary for Tauder Ford in Phoenixville and Budd Company and General Electric in King of Prussia. Dorothy was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, swimming and playing bridge and dominoes.

Surviving are her son Kenneth J. Taggart, Sr. husband of Barbara J. of Columbia, daughter Donna wife of R. Jon Munshower of Norristown and 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers Harold and Robert Stephens.

The Funeral will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Ascension Lutheran Church 600 E. Penn Grant Rd., Willow Street, PA 17584, with Rev. Steven R. Bowser officiating. A Viewing will take place 10-11 AM at the church. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
