Dorothy Milukas, 90, of Lancaster, passed away on August 2, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Edmund C. Milukas with whom she shared 70 years of marriage this past February. Born in Delano, Schuylkill County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ladensky Harach.

Dorothy has been a homemaker and had also worked for the Schick Corporation in Lancaster for 10 years. She loved polka music and with her husband, worked on several polka dancing committees over the years. She also enjoyed needlepoint, loved going to yard sales, clipping coupons, and traveling including going to the casinos in Maryland, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Dorothy also enjoyed going to the beach with her family, to places such as Aruba, Ocean City, MD and Lewes, Delaware.

She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband, Edmund, Dorothy is survived by her children: Sandra married to Robert Thompson, Lori married to Richard Keller, and Edmund II married to Connie King, all of Lancaster; her 4 grandchildren: Nicole Thompson, William Keller, Justina Keller-Avery, and Avalon Milukas; and her siblings: Kathryn Hagenbuch of Roseville, CA, Julianne Lesko of Bel Air, MD, and Thomas Harach of Newark, DE. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jay Kreider, and several siblings.

Friends will be received by Dorothy's family on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2-3PM at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 3PM. There will be no interment. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Dorothy's memory to a cause that was close to her heart, fighting breast cancer, in care of the Ann Barshinger Cancer Center, 2102 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
