On December 23, 2017, Dorothy, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bangor, PA. She was the daughter of Milo and Evelyn Elwine. She is survived by her husband, Grant J. Metzgar, Sr. and her five children: Grant J. Jr., John M., Susan L. Metzgar Dericks, Jeffrey S. and Brian K. Metzgar. She also has 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Grant and Dorothy were married 59 years and 5 months. She was a crafter in crochet and plastic canvas and also spent many years in the garment industry. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
