Dorothy M. Wiegand, affectionately known as "Dottie," passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Peter and Dorothy Marie Wiegand, she was a devoted Catholic and a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Church, where she worshipped alongside her parents and brother.

Dottie was a sweet and compassionate soul, known to be always happy. She had a love for country music and found joy in playing bingo. Some of her fondest memories were made while shopping with her mother and cousin, Gerry.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Wiegand, and his wife, Janet, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish her memory. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Robert wo passed away from leukemia.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 558 W Walnut St, Lancaster, PA 17603. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the Mass, Dottie will be laid to rest at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603.

Dottie's loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
