Dorothy G. Leininger, 96, of Landis Homes, fell asleep to awaken in the arms of the Lord, Sunday, December 23, 2018. Born in Union Grove, Dorothy, was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Minnie (Fox) Zimmerman. She was the wife of the late Wilmer M. Leininger who died in 2001. Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker, who spent her time caring for her family, the most important thing in her life. She was a loving and kind person who gave and gave of herself to benefit others. She was a member of St. John's Center United Church of Christ, Terre Hill. Dorothy is survived by her loving son, Larry, husband of Charlene, of Akron; granddaughter, Kristen Ulmer, wife of J. Kile, of Ephrata; and great-grandson, Jacob Ulmer. She is preceded in death by two sisters: Mabel Burkhart and Bertha Steffy. Family and friends will gather for Graveside Services, at 11AM, on Monday, January 14, 2019, at St. John's Center Lutheran Cemetery, 599 Reading Rd., East Earl, PA 17519.
