Dorothy "Dotty" J. Renninger, 70, formerly of Gordonville, PA, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Parke R. and Catherine D. (Patton) Rynier.

Dotty had a great sense of humor and was always laughing. She was a very feisty woman and never failed to speak her mind. She enjoyed completing word searches and reading James Patterson novels as well as spending time with family and friends.

Dotty's family includes her sons, Christopher "Chris" G. Suydam, and his fiancé Deanna Bowers of Strasburg, PA, and Shawn Suydam of Ballston Spa, NY, as well as her grandchildren, Amber Suydam, Noen Suydam and Brycen Suydam, and her brother David Rynier, and his wife Mary of Bird-in-Hand, PA. In addition to her parents, Dotty was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Louise Spoo, her brother John Earl Rynier, and her sister Barbara Jean Oliveras.

Following Dotty's wishes there will be no formal services.
