Dorothy M. (Horton) Smith, 93, of Lancaster, died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the wife of the late Glenn C. Smith, who died June 14, 2005. She was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Keating) Horton. Dorothy was employed as a sales clerk for Hickory Farms for 10 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Richard's Catholic Church, Manheim. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Murray Horton and his wife Mary of Lititz; 3 nieces: Sharon Walker, A. Marie Killian, and Karen Sipkov; and a nephew, James Horton. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Horton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA 17512 with the Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter, Jr as Celebrant. Interment will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wilkes-Barre. Kindly omit flowers.
