Dorothy Helen Geiger, 84, of Lancaster, passed away at Abbeyville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen C. (Yeager) Geiger.

A 1959 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Dot attended beautician school and was a hairdresser at the Pink Poodle Beauty Salon in Columbia for 50 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was active in St. Joseph Women's Club.

Dot enjoyed cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles, travelling, spending time at the beach in Stone Harbor, and time with her nieces and nephews.

Surviving Dot are her sisters, Kathleen wife of Deacon Donald Trees of Saugerties, NY, and Fran, wife of Walt Legenstein of Lancaster; 13 nieces and nephews, 34 great-nieces and nephews, and 21 great-great-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 am Wednesday, September 10, 2025, with The Rev. Pang J. S. Tcheou as Celebrant at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitations will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9th from 6 to 8 pm, with the Rosary lead by Deacon Donald Trees at 7:30 pm, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, and at the church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 am. Final Commendation and Farewell in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
