Dorothy L. Fissel, 64, of Elizabethtown laid to rest at home on Wednesday, August 21, 2008.  She is the daughter of the late John and Helen Miller Fagan. She was the wife of Adam D. Fissel going on 15 years, and together over 20. She is survived, in addition to her husband, by five children, Susie M. Barr of New Providence, William Rhineer of Quarryville, Faith Aukamp of Kirkwood, Robert Rhineer of Millersville, and Tonya Menges of Leola; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Jake, Brittany, Ashley, Carrie, TJ, Timmy, Joey, Sarah, Morgan, and the late Lugue; seven great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Frey of Holtwood.  Dorothy has been a waitress for over 40 years.  That's what she loved to do, serve.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and her trips away from home with her husband.  Tennessee was her favorite vacation place, and Isaacs Deli was her favorite place for Tomato soup. She is loved and will be missed by her family and animals.
