Obituary
Dorothy M. "Dottie" (Maretta) Petrovey, 73, of Lancaster, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Hamilton Arms.
Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Hucaluk) Maretta.
An avid reader, Dottie was employed as an assembler by Schott Brothers for 25 years until her retirement.
She was a member of the former Ephrata Church of Christ.
Dottie is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Gowacki and her husband Thomas W. of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Lampart and Patricia Maretta.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Chaplain Grace Stinchcomb officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hamilton Arms for the loving care they gave Dottie during her time there. "They are simply the best."
