Dorothy K. "Dot" Wolfe, 93, of Bird-In-Hand, died at the Hospice of Lancaster County Mount Joy Unit on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late John Kurtz and Margaret Bolander Kurtz Frey, and step-daughter of the late Coleman Frey.

Dot's husband of 67 years Robert C. Wolfe, Sr. died in 2003. She worked at several sewing factories and then for Vallorbs in Bird-In-Hand for 45 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Bird-In-Hand United Methodist Church.

Dot is survived by her son Robert C. Wolfe, Jr., of Bird-In-hand, sister-in-law Gladys "Tootie" Mellinger of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

A Viewing will take place on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 10-11 AM, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, followed by the Funeral at 11 AM, with Pastor Robert A. Bailey officiating. Interment in Bird-In-Hand U.M. Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
