Dorothy M. Batutis, 91, formerly of First Street in Lancaster, passed away on Friday evening at St. Anne's Retirement Community in Columbia.

She was the wife of the late Michael J. Batutis, who passed away in 1999. Born in Lancaster, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Timothy and Anna E. Arnold Droney.

Dorothy had been a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Guild and bowled with the bowling club.

Dorothy is survived by her 2 sons: Michael J., Jr. husband of Judy Batutis of Alexandria, VA, and Patrick J. , husband of the late Shirley Abel Patutis of Mount Joy. She is also survived by a grandson, Devin M. Batutis and a great grandson, Dean Michael Batutis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Droney.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10-11AM at the chapel at St Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603, with Mass to follow at 11AM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
